Chinese New Year Celebration 2025
The school ushered in the Year of the Snake with a lively and colourful Chinese New Year celebration in the hall. The day began with meaningful class bonding activities, followed by a vibrant concert that brought the festive spirit to life. Emcees, Shannon (402) and Shyla (203), kicked off the event by sharing insights into Chinese New Year customs and engaging the audience with an interactive quiz.
The celebration featured a series of captivating performances by Guzheng, Symphonic Band, Modern Dance, Ethnic Dance and Choir. Each group showcased its dedication and talent, contributing to the joyful atmosphere of the occasion.
A highlight of the event was the exhilarating lion dance performance, symbolising good fortune and prosperity. The celebration ended on a high note with a surprise appearance by Mr Ray Ong, dressed as the God of Fortune, sharing blessings and well wishes with the school community.
